- Enter your Aadhaar number, name, and other required details, and click on the "Link Aadhaar" button. The Aadhaar-PAN linking will be completed.
6. Check Aadhaar Linking Status
- After linking Aadhaar with PAN, check the Aadhaar linking status to ensure it is successfully done.
7. Prepare and File Income Tax Return
- Proceed to file your income tax return using the appropriate ITR form based on your income sources and other criteria.
8. Provide Aadhaar Details in the ITR Form
- In the ITR form, enter your Aadhaar number and name in the relevant sections.
9. Validate and Submit the ITR Form
- Validate the details entered in the ITR form and submit it on the income tax e-filing portal.
10. E-Verify the ITR (if required)
- After filing the return, you may need to e-verify it using any of the available methods like Aadhaar OTP, Net Banking, Demat Account, Bank Account, or EVC (Electronic Verification Code).
