7. Choose E-Verification Method
- Once the ITR is successfully submitted, you can choose any of the following methods for e-verification:
- Aadhaar OTP: You will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number linked to Aadhaar. Enter the OTP to verify your return.
- Net Banking: Log in to your bank's net banking portal and choose the option to e-verify your income tax return.
- Demat Account: If you have a demat account, you can use it to e-verify your return.
- Bank Account: E-verify using your bank account number and details.
8. E-Verify the ITR
- Follow the instructions for the selected e-verification method to complete the process.
9. Receive Acknowledgment
- After successful e-verification, you will receive an acknowledgment known as ITR-V (Income Tax Return - Verification) on your registered email ID.
10. Preserve ITR-V
- Keep a copy of the ITR-V for your records.
