NGO Darpan Registration - Process and Procedure

It allows for the interchange of vital information between such Volunteer organisations and NGOs and government departments, bodies, and ministries. Completing the NGO DARPAN Registration online will help the NGOs receive essential updates regarding government grants and other benefits. Let us take a look at the process of NGO DARPAN registration online, and why the NGO DARPAN registration and certificate are essential.

What is the NGO DARPAN?

The NGO DARPAN is a free facility that the NITI Aayog provides the NGOs and VOs to help them keep themselves updated regarding new government schemes and grants. The platform, which is a collaboration of the NITI Aayog and the NIC will help build a stronger partnership between NGOs and the government. Furthermore, completing the NGO DARPAN registration process gives NGOs more credibility and accountability. Though the portal started under the Prime Minister’s Office, the management later shifted to the NITI Aayog, with help from the Ministry of Electronics and IT.
