A trust, society or a Section 8 Company, can apply for Niti Aayog registration with the Niti Aayog Department. After applying, NGO will get Unique Identity Number from Niti Aayog portal. That unique number will be the identity of the NGO for applying Government funding/ Government grants scheme. Upon filing of legit drafted application with all the supporting documents (as required by the law) one can get this registration.
