Tax liability on gains from property sales by Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) depends on whether the capital gains are classified as short-term (STCG) or long-term (LTCG).

💡 Tax Savings on Capital Gains for NRIs

NRIs may reduce or defer taxes on LTCG by taking advantage of exemptions provided under Sections 54, 54EC, and 54F of the Income Tax Act.
