How to Update Mobile Number in Aadhar

An important document in India is the Aadhaar. The Government of India has made it compulsory for certain documents to be linked to the Aadhaar. If you wish to update any details on the Aadhaar card online, the mobile number must be linked to the Aadhaar. If the mobile number is not registered with the Aadhaar, you must visit the Permanent Enrolment Centre to do the same.

The process to Update the Mobile Number in Aadhaar Card

One may add the mobile number to the Aadhaar card and register it with UIDAI. Various messages and OTPs pertaining to your Aadhaar are sent to this mobile number.

Step 1: Go to the nearby Aadhaar Enrolment Centre

Step 2: Upgrade the Aadhaar Enrolment Form

Step 3: State your mobile number in the form

Step 4: Deposit the form to the executive

Step 5: Verify your details by using biometrics

Step 6: Providing documents is not required.

Step 7: Fees of INR30 have to be paid to get this service.

Step 8: For those who mention the mobile number during enrolment, there is no requirement for re-registration.
